Description / Expertise
D125. A particulary good Chippendale period mahogany tea table veneered in highly figured wood, all apparently taken from the same log. It is of excellent colour and patination. The fluted legs are champhered to their inner corners and the outer ones have egg and dart decoration which is also employed around the outer edges of both leaves. The carved front corner brackets are particularly well executed.
