D112. An exquisite little maroon sub-miniature 8 day solid silver Swiss carriage timepiece overlaid with finely executed translucent guilloche enamel which reveals the delicate designs machined on the front, sides and top of the case. There is also fine white floral decoration.

The clock rests on four silver bun feet and has a carrying handle. The pale cream enamel dial has Roman numerals, gilt hands and tiny gold dots for the minutes. The case is hallmarked to the base 0.925 sterling silver and numbered 15448. The inside of the back door also bears the number 15488 and 169. It is signed by Zenith whose name is on the back of the movement which is numbered 1624/2 together with the inscription 15 jewels.
