D342. A very rare carriage clock with dials on all four sides, each with a different display, showing the times in London, New York, Paris and the temperature.
This is the first clock of this type we have had the pleasure of handling but one is illustrated in Allix & Bonnerts book on Carriage Clocks, Page 220. It is signed with a B in a circle, thought to be Brunelot,.and is numbered 3054. It is also engraved on the backplate Patent Bte SGDG. Winding is achieved by opening the door indicating the temperature.
