Dent, London. No.1454. Circa 1847. A small and high quality rosewood veneered carriage clock standing some 8" high excluding the handle. It rests on brass bun feet and is provided with a carrying handle.
The two train chain fuzee movement strikes the hours on a bell and is provided with strike/silent regulation and hand set on the backplate.
The white enamelled dial, which has Roman numerals, is signed and numbered by Dent and has raised and gilded decoration to the four corners. It is surrounded by a gilded bezel.
