A fine musical longcase clock attributed to Deacon. It plays one of seven tunes, employing ten bells and ten hammers, changing automatically each day.The painted dial depicts 7 musicians in the arch, 5 of which move when the music plays.In the top half of the dial centre the days of the week are shown which, because of of the automatic change each day, will also tell you the tune being played. It has an elaborate case with swan-neck pediment and three small finials. Height 94" (239 cm)
