OS 30. A fine quality musical snuff box by William Edwards, hallmarked for 1816.
It plays particularly well and has a slide to the front for tune selection and another to the rear for stop/start. The box, which is in excellent order, has a rounded and slightly raised border on all sides. The rest of the box, including the base, is covered in fine engine turning and there is a disc to the centre of the lid.. The inside of the box is gilded.
