D110. An exquisite sub-miniature Swiss silver and guilloche enamel carriage clock with a 15 jewel 8 day movement having gilded plates and a lever escapement by the Zenith watch Company No 15448. Circa 1920.
The rectangular case rests on bun feet and has a silver carrying handle. The base is inscribed No 15448 Argent 0.925 Sterling silver. The solid silver back door has decorative striping.
All the edges of the case are protected by a narrow band of silver. The delicately engine turned front and top and sides are overlaid with maroon enamel bearing flowers.The circular white enamelled dial has roman numerals and gilt dots for the minutes.
